Miss Jaimie

This is Miss Jamie’s second season at Forever Dance. She took her first dance class at the Warman Dance Club in Warman, SK at the age of seven. Passion grew and she found her focus in hip hop and experimented with other street dance styles in workshops, camps and weekly classes. In 2017, Jamie began training at Upstage Dance Co. and expanded her focus to include all genres of dance.
Jamie began her venture as an aspiring performer/choreographer at 13 years old. Some of the most notable projects she was involved in include the Dance on the Saskatchewan Diversity Show where she choreographed and performed a hip hop number for the event. Jamie performed at the televised Telemiracle event at TCU place in 2019 after raising money with her dance group for the charity. She was a featured performer in the music video “Petite Fleur” by Ponteix as a ballet dancer after past minor work with the production company (Versa Films) for a few smaller projects. In 2023, Jamie acquired her Acro Module 1 certification and continues to attend various workshops and courses to further her practice.
Jamie has worked as an instructor in multiple short term and year-long dance programs. She has worked in person and online with youth in La Ronge and the surrounding area in several instances including workshops and performance preparation. Jamie has experience as a studio instructor as well as an outreach program facilitator in a wide variety of genres for ages 3-adult.
